The AIRAYA WirelessGRID broadband wireless access system is designed for multipoint applications requiring very high bandwidth. Each base station (AI108-4958-BSU) operates at a radio rate up to 108 Mbps and is capable of providing up to 35 Mbps of TCP/IP bandwidth, at distances up to 2.5 miles. Each AI108-4958-BSU base station supports up to 32 clients CPEs (AI108-4958-OSU) and each cell is capable of supporting up to 4 base stations (BSU's) with an aggregate capacity reaching 140 Mbps.

The AI108-4958-BSU outdoor base station unit is designed for worldwide use where wireless multipoint communication is needed. Utilizing 802.11a hardware technology and proprietary multipoint bridging software, the AI108-4958-BSU provides up to 42 Mbps of TCP/IP throughput, and supports up to 32 subscriber units. Utilizing the 4.94-4.99, 5.25-5.35, 5.47-5.72, or 5.725-5.85 GHz frequency bands, each base station includes an indoor signal/power injector, 150 foot indoor-to-outdoor cable, an outdoor radio with N-type female connector, 6ft RF cable, and 60, 90, 120 degree Sector, or 360 degree Omni antenna options (purchased seperately) for fast and reliable multipoint communication.

The AI108-4958-OSU outdoor subscriber unit (client) is designed for worldwide use where wireless multipoint communication is needed. Utilizing 802.11a hardware technology and proprietary multipoint bridging software, the AI108-4958-OSU provides up to 35 Mbps of effective throughput for multipoint communication utilizing the 5.25-5.35, 5.47-5.72, or 5.725-5.85 GHz frequency bands. Includes an indoor signal/power injector, 150 foot indoor-to-outdoor cable and integrated outdoor radio/23 dBi antenna for multipoint communication up to 2.5 miles (4km).
